Deanestor Health & Safety Policy

It is Deanestor's policy to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees together with any other people who may come into contact with our activities.

Deanestor recognises that the success in meeting our objectives for health, safety and welfare at work relies on the full co-operation of all employees in meeting their specific responsibilities for health and safety.

It is therefore the duty of all employees to conform to all aspects of the company health and safety policy and to adhere closely to relevant safety procedures and codes of practise. In addition all employees and all levels of management are expected to play their part and work in such a way that damage to health and accidents are prevented.

All employees with specific responsibilities for health and safety must ensure that the provisions of adequate cover is made in their absence. All employees who authorise work to be carried out at any time must ensure that there are adequate health and safety facilities available, supported by appropriate instruction and any information which may be required.

Deanestor also requires contractors and visitors to behave in a responsible and co-operative manner and abide by company rules whilst on site.

All work methods should be periodically appraised to ensure that safe systems of work are continually adopted.
