Deanestor Plc Secure Wave 3 Lancashire BSF Project
Deanestor have recently been appointed the FF&E sub-contractor for Hameldon College in Burnley, as part of Lancashire’s ongoing BSF scheme in partnership with Bovis Lend Lease.
The project, which includes: Science laboratories, technology rooms, drama studio and ICT classrooms also incorporates Special Educational Needs (SEN) areas, has a package value of approximately £120,000 and is expected to be completed in time for the autumn term 2010.
The awarding of this project, is in quick succession to securing an order for new science laboratories at Loughborough High (circa £130,000) – the Education Department at Deanestor plc, headed by Peter Waring (previously Director of Projects) believes that continuing the flexibility and service levels associated with Deanestor Healthcare will ensure repeat projects for the Education department.

Deanestor are proud to support Willmott Dixon's Community Healthcare Campus initiative, developed to showcase the future of primary healthcare facilities.
The campus is part of the Building Research Establishment's (BRE) innovation park in Watford, which demonstrates how sustainable construction practices and cutting-edge technology work to fulfil the future challenges facing design and construction. Central to this is the healthcare campus, developed to respond to the increasing role of primary care facilities in the modern community.
As part of this project we worked closely with Willmott Dixon to provide unique furniture solutions in keeping with the ethos of the Community Healthcare Campus, confirming our status as a market leader for innovation. Our commitment to environmental sustainability is also recognised as the materials and methods we use in our furniture production are key elements in the creation of modern facilities.

Deanestor Upholds Exemplary Health & Safety Record
Deanestor's exemplary record for Health and Safety performance has been acknowledged with receipt of the Skanska St. Barts Health and Safety award.
The award recognises Deanestor's commitment to following all main-contractor, on-site Health and Safety guidelines, whilst providing the highest-levels of training and management support to all of our site operatives.
As a sign of appreciation, a cheque for £500 was presented to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity by Andrew Hutchinson (Head of Projects) and Paul Hamilton (Installation Manager) alongside members Skanska's site management team.

BSEC Exhibition 2010
Deanestor Plc will be exhibiting at the BSEC exhibition at EXCEL London, on 24th and 25th February 2010.

Environmental Commitment Now FSC Accredited
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainable business practices, incorporating the reduction of our carbon footprint, improved recycling methods and the use of renewable resources for heating and power, Deanestor Plc are pleased to announce the receipt of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) accreditations.
These accreditations denote that Deanestor products carry the FSC and/or PEFC labels and are independently certified to assure consumers that the wood and fibre material used in our furniture comes directly from managed forests or other certified sources to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.
Deanestor Plc intend to continue seeking recognition for the above commitments by further attaining ISO 14001.
