Core
All postformed worktops have a moisture resistant particle board core as standard and a moisture resistant fibre board core is available as an option at extra cost.
Surface finish
Postforming grade laminate available (colour chart). Deanestor can provide a full laminate selection from Wilsonart Art, Polyrey or Formica.
Length
Worktops can be supplied without joints up to 3000mm long as standard (3600 - 4100mm optional depending on colour and type of laminate).
Depth
Standard depths of worktops are from 300mm to 650mm. Other depths can be accommodated in increment of 50mm to a maximum depth of 1300mm depending on worktop profile.
Fascia Height
A range of heights from 20mm to 100mm depending on profile selected with 70mm being HTM63 standard.
Faced Ends
Must be specified in the code when ordering. Plain ends supplied 50mm oversized to allow for scribing to wall.
Subframe
Timber frame is provided loose for site fixing by contractor, depending on profile of worktop.
Loose Upstand
Available in 50mm height as standard. Use for notching around columns, recesses and return walls as required
Fixing Instructions
Worktops are fixed through the softwood back rail at approximately 600mm centres using plastic wall plugs to manufacturer's recommendations. If no subframe is fitted to the top, the installer should fit a softwood cleat to the wall and screw through the cleat into the top. The units should then be positioned and fixed through the carcase tops into the worktops.
Please Note: worktops with integral upstands (types PA, PD, PG and PK) can only be mitred at 45°.
