Shelving Systems

Deanestor manufactures three main types of shelving finishes to accomadate most consumer's requirements.

Shelf lengths are manufactured in increments of 50mm from 300mm to 2800mm depending on the surface finish specified, depths from 150mm up to 650mm in increments of 50mm. (refer to cross-section sketches below)

• WSM - Melamine faced particle board shelf with a 0.4mm melamine edge.
• WSL - Laminated particle board shelf with 1.0mm laminate edge.
• WSV - Veneered Shelving with an optional harwood lipping on veneer.

Metal uprights are available in white finish in seven lengths; 430mm, 710mm, 1000mm, 1220mm, 1600mm, 1980mm, and 2400mm.

Metal brackets are available in white finish in seven sizes to suit adjustable shelf depths from 150mm to 650mm, actual bracket sizes are; 120mm, 170mm, 220mm, 270mm, 370mm, 470mm, and 610mm.

Fixing

Wall uprights are fixed with 75mm x No. 10 CS woodscrews. Brackets are not usually fixed directly to the shelves as this prohibits adjustments. Deanestor recommends a No. 8 roundhead woodscrews positioned on the underside of the shelf to locate with the front inner face of the bracket. This holds the shelf in position and allows removal for adjustments. Ensure vertical noggins are provided for uprights to suit our recommended fixing centres. Measure screw length to ensure correct size used as surface damage may occur.
