Site Managers

Both fixed and temporary contracts are available

Summary

We are expanding our site management team who are responsible for the overall efficient delivery and installation of fitted furniture to our customer’s exacting specifications and helping us to deliver and maintain the highest service standards.

This role involves the direction, co-ordination, implementation, control and completion of major fitting out projects in line with our strong customer service commitments.

The Role

  • You will have responsibility for ensuring that products for installation arrive correctly on site, ready for our installation team to fit
  • You will liaise with the project managers to provide progress updates as required, and will be a point of contact to resolve any technical challenges that may arise
  • A key part of your role will be to ensure that all products are installed correctly and to the precise specification, processing all relevant paperwork on time.

Frequent travelling will be required with weekend work and occasional night shifts, according to the requirements of each project.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Accountable for daily work orders and updating progress to the Group Installation Manager throughout the week
  • Team management including handling team rosters and completion of paperwork including health and safety requirements
  • Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
  • Organising and managing the team’s workload and time on site effectively
  • Attending and maintaining current training and in-house workshops as directed by the management team.

Scope of the Role

Working under the guidance of the Group Installation Manager, you will undertake all assigned daily tasks and duties whilst meeting our stringent health and safety requirements. This will include problem solving on site. Adequate pre-planning will be necessary to achieve goals set by the management team. You will also need to be capable of handling an installation project without escalating.

  • You will be responsible for all aspects of the installation works including health and safety, quality and progress
  • You will be expected to attend all site meetings and produce relevant documentation that aligns with the specific requirements of both Deanestor and our customer
  • You will be responsible for any approved sub-contractors, ensuring deliveries to site are requested in a timely manner, and that site cleanliness is adhered to and installation is on programme
  • You will be responsible for the effective control and management of all site activities.

Installers

Locations:

  • Scotland - Edinburgh, Inverurie and all regions
  • England - Manchester, Exeter, all regions
  • South Wales

We are expanding our team of fitters for kitchens, bedrooms and fitted furniture to work on high profile projects across a diverse range of sectors – healthcare, education, student accommodation and residential. 

A large proportion of these projects are for repeat clients – both developers and contractors – following our successful performance on previous schemes.

Summary of Role

The primary role is for the joinery installation of fixed furniture including base and wall units, worktops and appliances for hospital, school and residential projects in Scotland, England and South Wales.

There may be an element of working away from home.

Role and Responsibilities

•    Installation of furniture on construction sites
•    Understanding installation schedules
•    Accurate interpretation of layout drawings
•    Adhering closely to timescales.
 
Qualifications

•    City & Guilds NVQ level 2 or equivalent
•    CSCS Card holder – essential
•    Driving Licence – ideal but not essential
