David Cameron Visit to Westminster Bridge Project

Deanestor Plc. Managing Director, William Tonkinson, attended a Balfour Beatty launch to celebrate significant investment for industry suppliers at the Urbanest Westminster Bridge Road project, in London, on 27th May. During the event Balfour Beatty announced their pledge of a record £1 billion supply chain spend to SME’s during 2014.

The launch was attended by Nick Pollard, CEO, Balfour Beatty Construction Services UK, along with PM, David Cameron (centre), and William Tonkinson, MD, Deanestor Plc. (2nd right).

The Westminster Bridge Road Urbanest scheme, designed by architects AHMM, will provide purpose built accommodation for more than 1,000 students. The accommodation includes a student common room with inspiring views over the Thames, a gym, swimming pool & café.

Deanestor will be supplying bedroom and kitchen furniture for this significant accommodation project in partnership with main contractors, Balfour Beatty Construction Services.

Completion is expected for September 2015.
