Another School Fitout Project Completed for Midlothian Council

Deanestor has successfully completed another school fitout project in Scotland. This follows the Hopefield Campus contract, also delivered for Midlothian Council.

Deanestor has completed a furniture and fitout project for the new Danderhall Primary School and community hub in Dalkeith.

A Sucessful Education Furniture Fitout

The £17m scheme was built by Heron Bros for Midlothian Council and designed by AHR Architects.

Deanestor provided fixed and loose furniture for 95 rooms across the two-storey primary school and early learning campus.

The furniture package included education resource storage units, extensive teaching and display aids, wet areas in each classroom, and furniture for offices, dining, conference spaces, and break-out and atrium areas.

The new school will accommodate up to 640 pupils and 120 children in its nursery and early years spaces. The facilities also include a library, leisure centre, café and sports pitches.

This latest Deanestor project follows the successful delivery of the furniture and fitout contract for Hopefield Campus for Midlothian Council last year.
