Bronglais Hospital Plan
The plan included a new emergency department, clinical decisions unit, and GP out-of-hours services – speeding up access to treatment and reducing inappropriate hospital admissions; purpose-built day surgery unit, new short-stay surgical ward; new maternity unit, refurbish existing accommodation to relocate pathology services to establish an integrated blood sciences department and, refurbishment of the main theatre suite.
Deanestor were contracted to complete the Manufacture, Supply and Installation of FF&E including the specialist laboratory furniture for the pathology department. The laboratory benching had solid surface tops and metal framework. It included either tiered modular shelving fixed to the wall or laboratory reagent shelving.
We had to work to a stringent delivery schedule but managed to complete on time even with multiple variations being made to the original contract.
