Deanestor’s Commitment to Corporate Responsibility: Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Quality
At Deanestor, we are deeply committed to corporate responsibility, integrating health, safety, sustainability, and quality across all our operations. From maintaining the highest standards in workplace safety to adopting environmentally responsible manufacturing practices, we ensure that every step of our process aligns with our dedication to providing safe, functional, and sustainable furniture solutions. Our focus on continuous staff training, rigorous quality control, and eco-friendly initiatives enables us to deliver the best for both our clients and the planet.

Environmentally Responsible Furniture Manufacturing Practices
Deanestor is FSC® certified and ISO 14001 certified, showcasing our commitment to sustainability. We are proud to support responsible forestry and undergo annual audits by BM Trada, ensuring our operations align with the highest environmental standards.
Sustainable Practices and Corporate Responsibility in Furniture Production
Our Mansfield factory is heated by a biomass boiler powered by wood waste from our furniture production, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and significantly cutting carbon emissions.
We have further embraced renewable energy by installing solar panels at our Warren Way and Kings Court sites. Additionally, our Dal Prete Water Treatment Plant conserves 30% of water used during production, minimising our environmental footprint.
By integrating these eco-friendly manufacturing practices, we deliver high-quality, modern furniture that meets the needs of environmentally conscious clients while promoting a more sustainable future.
Transport Safety, Efficiency, and Sustainability in Fleet Operations
Deanestor’s HGV fleet is proud to be officially awarded Bronze accreditation under the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). This achievement reflects our commitment to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in fleet operations, ensuring that our transport management meets the highest industry standards.
By adhering to rigorous FORS requirements, we continue to enhance our fleet’s performance, prioritising responsible and effective transport solutions.
Corporate Responsibility in Health, Safety, and Quality Compliance
At Deanestor, we prioritise health and safety across all our operations. As members of the British Safety Council, we fully comply with occupational health and safety legislation in the design, manufacture, supply, and installation of furniture for healthcare, education, and accommodation sectors. Our dedicated HSEQ Officer ensures best practices are upheld, whilst our leadership team holds IOSH and CITB qualifications. To maintain the highest safety standards, we also engage with external CMIOSH-qualified experts who conduct regular inspections and compliance checks.
Staff Training, Quality Control, and Compliance in Furniture Manufacturing
We invest in continuous staff training through toolbox talks, Human Focus e-learning modules, and tailored sessions. Every bespoke furniture solution undergoes rigorous quality control to guarantee it meets both design specifications and safety requirements. By maintaining a strong focus on compliance, training, and quality assurance, we deliver functional, stylish, and safe furniture solutions for diverse markets.
