The Project
Affinity Living Riverside is the first development to be launched under Select Property Group’s residential property brand.
Built by Sir Robert McAlpine and designed by architects Denton Corker Marshall, Riverside provides 190 studios and one, two and three-bed apartments for rent in a stunning 16-storey tower overlooking the river and the cityscape.
The luxury development for stylish urban living features a host of amenities for tenants including expansive social spaces for co-working, lounges, and TV areas. Each apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows to maximise the views over Manchester.

The Furniture Solution
The £750,000 bespoke kitchen and bedroom fitout contract was awarded to Deanestor.
Deanestor manufactured and installed the kitchens in 15 different configurations to suit the range of apartment sizes and layouts.
Bespoke Kitchen Design for Build-to-Rent Apartments
The sleek, high-end open-plan kitchens have marbled white granite-effect worktops, an oak-effect finish to the breakfast bars for two to six people, and moulded cabinet doors with integrated handles. The base units and drawer fronts were finished in contemporary indigo blue and contrasting white for the wall cabinets.
High Specification Kitchen Manufacturing and Installation
High Specification Kitchens
Door backs were colour-matched for a high-quality finish, and the kitchens were manufactured to very tight tolerances for this high specification, design-led residential scheme. There are full-height pantry cupboards, and each kitchen has a microwave and full-sized washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, and hob.
Integrated Kitchen Appliances and Utility Solutions
There are full-height service cupboards in indigo blue for the kitchen and utility areas, and all the appliances were integrated for an enhanced finish and fitted by Deanestor’s installation team.
Bespoke Wardrobes and Bedroom Furniture for Rental Apartments
Deanestor’s contract also included a full design service and the manufacture of nearly 300 bespoke freestanding wardrobes for each apartment which were finished in cashmere.
Bespoke Fitted Furniture for Luxury Build to Rent Apartments
Built for longevity, the high specification cabinets are crafted using robust glue and dowel constructions which provide a durable finish for build-to-rent schemes. The units are all pre-assembled in the factory for consistently high quality and to reduce work on site.
